







This journey takes you deep into the landscapes around Djanet, where dunes, rock formations, and quiet desert spaces shape the experience. You’ll travel through places like Tikoubawin and Erg Admer, visit iconic formations such as the Elephant Arch and the “Crying Cow,” and sleep under the stars. Evenings are spent around the fire with Tuareg music, sharing simple moments in the silence of the desert. It’s a mix of movement, nature, and calm — a way to really feel the rhythm of the Sahara.

Day One: Djanet – Tikoubawin – Erg Admer
Morning departure through Erg Admer, enjoying the golden dunes and unique rock formations. Lunch under the shade of Tikoubawin mountains. Afternoon visit to alake Touia. At sunset: admire the sun disappearing behind the dunes. Overnight stay in Erg Admer, in tents or under the open sky.
Day Two: Tikoubawin – In Muruden – Timghas
Morning drive towards In Muruden, a spectacular mountainous area. Lunch in In Wokou, under the shade of the mountains. Afternoon passage through Timghas valley, surrounded by rocks and many plante Overnight under the stars, with Tuareg music and storytelling around the fire.
Day Three: The Crying Cow – Djanet
Visit the famous rock formation known as The Crying Cow. Return to Djanet by midday. Tour of Djanet’s traditional market and visit to one of the old kassar. Farewell dinner in Tuareg ambiance with local dishes and music. Evening transfer to the airport for departure.

Safety: Algeria is safe to visit. Local Tuareg guides will care for you throughout the trip and
arrange all permits in advance for a smooth and worry-free journey.
Group size: Often limited (minimun 4 max 12 participants) to preserve intimacy and respect
for fragile desert ecosystems.

Accommodation based on twin-sharing in hotel.
During the tour in Sahara accommodation is in the tents (1-2 people in the tent). Tents and matrasses are provided. Sleeping bag is recommended and not provided. The camps do not provide water for washing or showers.

– Bring moisturizing cream or Vaseline for dry skin and lips.
– Carry a personal first aid kit (bandages, disinfectant, basic medicines).
– Take a pocket or head torch and a power bank for charging your phone or camera.
– A warm sleeping bag and pillow can make nights more comfortable.
– A large scarf is useful against wind and desert sand (you can also buy one on arrival).
– Wet wipes and toilet paper are practical for days without a bathroom.
– Don’t forget travel insurance.
