





This specially created tour combines the beauty of the Sahara with an authentic insight into Tuareg life and traditions. From the ancient ksour of Djanet to nights under the desert stars, you will experience a deep connection with both the landscape and the people who preserve it. It offers a balanced mix of adventure, cultural encounters, and peaceful moments in a truly unique environment. You will witness the unique camel dance, ride camels across the dunes, meet local women artisans, visit traditional markets, and enjoy folk dances to the rhythm of traditional Tuareg music.
Day 1 – Ksour of Djanet
Arrival in Djanet, transfer to guesthouse. Guided visit to the three ksour – Almizan, Adjahil , Zelouaz.
Sunset tea ceremony and storytelling.
Overnight camping.
Day 2 – Desert Adventure
Excursion to Tikoubawen with its stunning rock formations and prehistoric art. Lunch in ander the shadow of the mountain. Evening campfire with Tuareg music.
Overnight camping.
Day 3 – Camel Dance and Camel Ride
Witness the Camel Dance, symbol of desert harmony. Each guest rides a camel across the dunes.
Overnight camping.
Day 4 – Women’s Palm Tree Handicrafts
Meet local women artisans crafting baskets and mats from palm leaves. Learn about sustainability
and heritage. Lunch in a local house. Evening storytelling. Overnight in guesthouse.
Day 5 – Market & Tuareg Folk Dance
Guided visit to Djanet’s traditional market to discover crafts and local products. Afternoon rest.
Evening Tuareg folk dances with drums and chants, guests invited to join. Overnight in guesthouse.
Day 6 – Closing Night Party
Final day traditionnel game in the farm and celebration with a live Tuareg music group. Barbecue
dinner under the stars. Distribution of symbolic certificates (Preserving Culture). Transfer to Djanet

Important notes:
Accommodation based on twin-sharing in hotel.
During the tour in Sahara accommodation is in the tents (1-2 people in the tent). Tents and matrasses are provided. Sleeping bag is recommended and not provided. The camps do not provide water for washing or showers.

– Take a pocket or head torch and a power bank for charging your phone or camera.
– A warm sleeping bag and pillow can make nights more comfortable.
– A large scarf is useful against wind and desert sand (you can also buy one on arrival).
– Wet wipes and toilet paper are practical for days without a bathroom.
– Don’t forget travel insurance.
